To help "Feed the Inner Viking" in all of us, SeafoodFest has added a third stage, playing tribute to Ballard's Scandinavian and maritime heritage. It features traditional dancing and tunes from Norway, Sweden and Finland, along with the music and humor of Mr. Norway himself, Stan Boreson. There'll be polka lessons, accompanied by the Smilin' Scandinavians and a special tribute to Ivar Haglund, Seattle's Seafood Restaurant King.
