Ballard is where the fun begins and this year’s event is about all the things that make this place special—our unique Scandinavian heritage, a thriving maritime industry and our generous and fun people.

We’ve closed down more streets and added a third entertainment stage. You’ll also find more booths, more community groups and more seafood choices! Plus SeafoodFest is proud to be one of Seattle’s first Carbon Neutral event courtesy of NativeEnergy. And a big thanks to Sustainable Ballard for helping make our event more green, including a solar powered generator for one of our stages, a major recycling and composting effort and help in encouraging the use of METRO for getting to the festival. And if that’s not cool enough, we’ve got Ballard’s own “Kings of Crab” from Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch, direct from their fishing boats in Alaska. What a deadly catch!
