Along with the date change, we've also made some changes to the offerings at Bergen Place Park. First and foremost, we've heard that the festival goers would like more places to sit and eat—so we listened. During the rest of the festival, the park will now feature tables, chairs and umbrellas so you can enjoy every bit of your delicious seafood and other tasty edibles. Stop in, have a seat, and enjoy the alfresco dining!

Since the stage is gone, Stan Boreson will perform on the MainStage! With a bigger stage and more seating, his wit and humor can now be enjoyed by even more people. Be sure to get down to Ballard Avenue for one or both of his performances.

Our Annual Lutefisk Eating Contest, however, will still take place in Bergen Place Park. Contestents gather and see just how much of this delicacy they can eat. (or stomach!) Cash prizes go to those who rise above the others. Sign-ups take place at the festival, beginning two hours prior. And thanks to Scandinavian Specialties, there'll be plenty of fish for all our contestants.
